Today is March 3rd. The notebook I grabbed off the shelf on September 21st to take notes is full. 162 days ago. As I happily finish it, this blog post is the main lessons of the "first book".
Murphy was given a 50/50 chance of making it on 9/19. He came home 9/21.
If you're noticing something is up with your dog, start tracking:
-Food intake
-Treat intake, even something small can mess with them
-Changes in bowels
-Changes in sleep
-Energy/mood "good days"
-Temperature, specifically what is normal for your dog
-Sleeping patterns/restlessness
-Panting Patterns
What is 1 thing I wish I did sooner?
Food. I wish I had changed to "better food'.I tried Farmers Dog or NomNom. We feed our dogs garbage and most people believe kibble causes cancer. I'm going to have to re-watch "Legally Blonde Two" because I'm pretty sure that garage dog food should be banned in the US.
Upside, if your dog ever barks while you're on a call you don't have to apologize. You just say "My dog has cancer, so I let him do whatever he wants."
I have templates for notebooks on my e-book page here:
